Barnstaple 10K results and fundraising total

Our Barnstaple 10km race returned on Sunday 8 June, with 282 runners stepping out on the streets of Barnstaple to complete the charity run.
Now in its ninth year, the Barnstaple 10K 2025 is estimated to have raised over £12,800 for Care for Kids, which is a fundraising record for the event. Care for Kids provides financial support to the families of children with life threatening illnesses and carries out projects at the NDDH children’s ward. The amount raised this year would be enough to support 12 families in need or more than cover the costs to revamp the playroom at the children’s ward later this year.
Course results
David McKinnon was the first to cross the finish line, in a new course record time of 33:21. Fastest Junior runner, Finley Cloak, was hot on his heels taking second place at 34:12 and Dan Parkin was the third fastest, with a time of 36:41.
The fastest female finisher was Lucy MacAlister, who finished in 41:13. Hannah Cordery took second place at 41:47 and Helen Harbottle was the third fastest again this year, with a time of 41:59.

Thanks to everyone who made it possible - the volunteers, sponsors and of course all the runners and their supporters. All the money raised will make a massive difference to our small charity and the local families we support."
