We're a small team, so whenever we organise a fundraising event, we need lots of volunteers! Join our team of happy helpers and help raise funds for local families.
Are you interested in volunteering for us? Everyone has their own reasons for volunteering, but here are just a few of the benefits:
Does this sound like something you want to get involved with?
When you sign up to become a volunteer, we’ll keep your details on our database and send you invitations whenever we are holding an event that needs some support. This could be marshalling at our annual Barnstaple 10K, helping with a bucket collection, or attending an event with us.
If you’d like to do more, then you might consider becoming an ambassador.
Ambassadors go that little bit further to promote and support our charity. As well as attending events, they also help to promote the work of our charity within their own communities.
This could be putting up posters, organising their own charity events or putting our charity’s name forward when fundraising opportunities arise. We currently have three ambassadors, but we’re always on the lookout for more! Get in touch if you are interested, we’d love to hear from you.
Our five trustees lead the charity and decide how it is run. They are responsible for governing the charity, making decisions about our policies, objectives and strategies.
Trustees attend quarterly trustee meetings and represent the charity at numerous events.
If you think you have the skills and enthusiasm to become a trustee, then get in touch. Previous experience of being a trustee is not necessary.
